Names in the database are often formal ("Last, Hon. First"). The AI assistant uses match_politicians to resolve fuzzy names before portfolio or trade search.

- Open profile or portfolio tab when snapshots exist
- Compare holdings to recent trades for consistency
If no snapshot is cached, ProBors lists available snapshots via portfolio APIs—try another reporting period or fall back to trade history.
