ProBors processes the following categories of personal data:

  • Identification data: Name, surname, email address, residential/delivery address, phone number.
  • Financial data: Payment information (e.g., credit card details, transaction data), securely processed by Stripe in compliance with PCI DSS standards. ProBors does not store raw credit card data.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, device information (e.g., model, screen resolution), approximate location (country-level).
  • Usage data: Browsing history, interactions with our website, cookie preferences, service usage data.
  • Cookies and tracking technologies: We use cookies as described in our Cookie Policy (Section 3).
2. Purpose of Data Processing

Your data is used exclusively for:

  • Contract fulfillment: Providing services, processing orders, user support.
  • Legitimate business interests: Service improvement, fraud prevention, analytics.
  • Legal compliance: Tax records, responses to lawful requests from authorities.
  • Communication: Service updates, promotional materials (with consent).
  • Security: Fraud prevention, identity verification.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses:

  • Essential cookies: Required for basic functionality (e.g., login). These cannot be disabled.

ProBors implements robust measures:

  • Physical security: Data hosted in secured Amazon AWS facilities with multi-layered protection.
  • Regular audits: Security reviews and vulnerability testing.

In case of a breach affecting user rights, we will notify affected parties within 72 hours (per GDPR Article 33).

5. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell your data. Processors include:

  • Stripe (payments) – PCI DSS compliant.
  • Amazon AWS (hosting) – EU/US transfers under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
  • Mailchimp (email) – Only for users who opt in.

All processors are bound by GDPR Article 28 agreements. Data may be disclosed to authorities upon lawful request.

6. International Data Transfers

Some providers (e.g., Stripe, AWS) operate outside the EU. Transfers comply with GDPR Article 46 (SCCs) or Privacy Shield (where applicable).

7. Data Retention

We retain data:

  • As long as necessary for the intended purpose (e.g., active subscriptions).
  • For legal obligations (e.g., tax records as required by applicable law).
  • Until consent withdrawal (for marketing).

Data is anonymized or deleted when no longer required or as mandated by applicable privacy laws.

8. User Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

9. Refund Policy

Refunds are offered only for the ProBors Yearly plan and must be requested within 14 days of the payment date. For Yearly, the refund amount will be reduced by the monthly subscription fee. Refunds are not available for monthly subscriptions, even if the plan is canceled on the same day of purchase. Users who initiate a chargeback or payment dispute will forfeit eligibility for any refund.

10. Policy Updates

Users will be notified of material changes via email or website notice. Continued use 30 days after publication implies acceptance of revised terms.

11. Liability Disclaimer

While ProBors employs industry-standard protections, we cannot guarantee absolute security against unauthorized breaches, technical failures, or third-party misconduct. Users must safeguard their login credentials.
